Crushed Christine; After The Bulldozer...

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Earlier today I purchased a bunch of M2s (and other cars) from Kiddie Kar. Unfortunately, while trying to remove one of the M2s from the base I stripped the screw. No problem, I figured I'd just cut the base off. Well, that didn't work out so well and the car fell to the concrete floor, damaging it.

Of course that car had to be the Christine look alike. You know, the one that's almost impossible to get in this release?

So when life hands you lemons, make lemonade! I may not have a mint one any more (I will try tracking down another- hopefully Kiddie Kar still has a few in stock!), but now I have the post demolition one from the movie. So it's still accurate to Christine, but I'd have never had the guts to do this to an M2 if I hadn't already dropped it. It actually came out well all things considered!

Still, I'm mad at myself for dropping it in the first place. :(

How funny James...it's one of my all time favorite movies. I've wanted a Christine in my collection, so now I know to pay more attention to M2s.

Glad you made lemonade Swifty...

I totally dislike (read hate) horror flicks. I guess I am just a whimp, My daughters would rent them regularily and I would head to the basement when they had movie night at home.

I was hoping it would do the first part! No such luck! :(

But if my 1/64 first generation Camaros start getting bumped off one by one I'll know who to blame...

LOL!

James, I hate horror movies, too. I saw 'The Exorcist' when I was 13, and that kind of did them in for me.

I was waiting for someone to upbraid you, Sean, for crushing this car... :D

I detest horror films too. Not because they're scary, which most of the time they're not, but because the storylines are always so cliched.

Yeah, it's not a horror/slasher movie unless you have eleven teenagers visiting a creepy house to hang out and get high or tryst, and they all get chopped up one by one. How original.
