Um, Dadvball, think you just pulled a Crafty! :D Check out the topic title at the top of this page, it's a HWs from the early 80s I suspect. B)

Most found come in black with tampo, and I think there were also red ones, with tampos. I think it looks GREAT in a light color, it really shows how well Mattel hit the target.

This one was a black one. I found it at Macungie, chipped badly. I painted the chips and remaining tampo in with matte black, to make it look exactly like one that's been seen driving around Princeton for years. I had it sitting on the diorama for some time now, but a few weeks ago, on the spur of the moment, I did this. I think Mattel did a bang up job on the car's detail!
