I have one of these, and like you, I felt that it just had to be de-tampoed. And what a difference that made. It came out quite nicely, but the '71 Impala didn't fair so well. The yellowey gold colour faded away around the door shut lines, but it's still displayable. |

James, the same exact thing happened here! I noticed that the clearcoat was coming off the '71 Impala, and I left it as is. Perhaps they used a different type of clearcoat? I don't know. |
