This car was originally posted a while back, metallic teal, white trim, pink interior and tennis tampoed on the bonnet.

Now, I never thought it made much sense, especially since the more sensible version I had found wasn't too exciting.

So with the tennis teal version, I drilled it out and gave a full respray in silver, and the interior/trim in black.

The wheels were taken from a Matchbox Ferrari, and seem more appropriate than the square truck like rims Majorette usually puts on.

This project took one day.

One other thing I just noticed- the finish looks like an automotive finish- not too bright, not too metallicy, and not too dull. What kind of paint are you using?

Store brand metallic silver spray paint for multi-surface projects.

Some paints I do use, are automotive paints, because my family goes through many cars, and with each car they get a chip paint to match.

Other paints are Testors brand (USA Made) Acrylic or Enamel paints.

Thanks for the answer. I would have passed right by that, dismissing it as appliance paint (and probably picked up some metalflake that I'd only be semi-happy with. Shows what I know!
