CONTINENTAL MARK II-VIII (US) 1956-1999 ? The Mark II was originally introduced as a separate marque from the Lincoln Division of Ford Motor Company. Unfortunately no small diecast models have been issued of this car to date. It was only in production into 1957 and featured a new but classical design as only a 2 door hardtop car. Later after this series was combined back into the Lincoln Division, the name was changed from Continental to just the word Mark . Various upgrades were produced in which the Roman numeral number was changed. The longer the Marks remained in production , the more they resembled the regular Lincoln line. Models of the later marks in diecast have been made by Hot Wheels , MUKY, Matchbox, Siku, Yat Ming, Zeetoy, Tomica, Topper and Johnny Lightning. |
