I have found the LaSalle name attached to Cadillacs:

1955 Cadillac La Salle II design exercise

It also appears that in the mid-'90's LaSalle was a trim level for Cadillac DeVilles.

I recall the Concept Experimental using the LaSalle name- but since it was not a production car , it was not mentioned. As for the DeVilles "trim level", please provide some proof via a picture or adverisement reproduction. I don't recall these at all- but I could be wrong (?)

My main historical source is "Standard Catalog of American Cars 1976-1999" by Flamming and Kowalke and pub by Krause in 1999. I cannot find any name reference to LaSalle in any of the detailed reviews from 1990-1999 . Such trim differences as Concours, Town Sedan , d'Elegance, etc . are mentioned bu not LaSalle!

I found it purely by accident surfing the web. It may not be a universally recognized edition, but I have found it in relation to both '94 and '95 models:

Quote:

1994 Cadillac DeVille LaSalle Edition "Only 74k Miles" Reliable - $2575 (OXON HILL MD.)

source: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/ctd/1576279801.html

This is a Craigslist ad, so it will not last long. I also found an expired Craigslist ad from Minneapolis.
