So this week the choice is between Ameircan Muscle, Amercian Muscle, American Muscle or American Muscle. Nothing wrong with that, but it is not mch of a choice.

Technically the Cobra is British-American muscle! I figure that if American muscle cars keep doing well in the polls, why not make them fight each other and let something else win in on other weeks. This will be a muscle car free week. Actually, this week's pics have been taken and in addition to muscle cars, this coming week lacks Hot Wheels, Matchbox, JL, GL, M2, or Tomica. I think it'll make for an interesting week! I do try to keep things diverse, while still appealing to those who (like myself) love classic American muscle! |

Not sure of teh Fairlane, classic suburbia grocery getter, Mom's car...... but slap the right motor in her and she'd wake up nicely. Forgot Cuda, Vette, Charger, Camaro, ?????? And IMHO, just 6 of the graduating class that time will never forget. |

Me too! It's even nicer than the Cobra. A pity my pics don't do it justice and it will fail to win.

My vote is in. Thanks for the poll and the work/effort you put into each week of COTD Swifty. It does take dedication and time to put these together on a weekly basis. |

Check the badge on the front fender of the Fairlane James. It's wearing a 427 badge, so I think it has the right motor.

I'm not surprised Cobra. While the Cobra in the picture below isn't a Super Snake (it's a regular 427 Cobra), I think the plain red color looks better than the blue metalflake Super Snake Cobra.

James, the owner of the 1957 Chevy Bel Air sold the car to Wallschlager Motors so he could buy the shiny red 427 Cobra.

COULD YOU HAVE MADE THE DECISION ANY TOUGHER!!! lol A very nice group of fine automobiles here that Swifty has shown. In the end, it was a tough choice for me between ALL of them. But I'm a sucker for '70s and '80s Stangs so I had to pick it. |

Stutz, a big thank you for the picture. The red coloured regular version of the Shelby AC Cobra does look much better than the Super Snake. If this version had run against the others, there certainly would have been the possibilty of it being a run-away winner. Personally, I thought that the Kyosho '71 Ford Mustang Mach 1 would garner many votes with a couple of the other castings possibly being close. I was surprised by the results up to this point in time. So anyone who is a member and reading this thread, take the time to vote as there are some excellent castings to consider. Cheers. Cobra |

Thanks - for just kidding! I went the Cobra - although that was probably the best Mustang casting to date.
