This shortlived marque was intrduced by General Motors (GM) to be the "Little Buick" during the Great Depession. All major divisions of GM began producing less expensive companion cars except for Chevrolet.
The companion marques La Salle and Pontiac continued in production for quite a few years. But The Marquette and Viking from Oldsmobile soon ceased production.
The only small scale model purported by many collectors to replicate this "Little Buick" was made by Tootsietoy in the 1930s
