Well, the title is pretty much the cliffs notes. Long story short, I haven't been around here very much lately because life has just gotten crazy since the semester started. They are piling the assignments on. On top of that, I'm getting more and more involved with real cars too, so that does not leave much time for die-cast :( And with no job, almost no money for them. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not throwing in the towel, just letting you guys know that I'm in recessed die-cast mode for the time being

I have mostly been able to keep up with the MB and HW basic cars that I want though, just have not gotten around to taking pictures. The MB SLR and HW Triumph are knock-outs!

Oh, and speaking of that real car stuff, I won my class at CSCC's autocross yesterday! And not because I was the only car in it, surprisingly enough; in fact, my class had 10 entrants!

So anyway, I'll still be around of course, just not at full capacity. Hopefully I will be able to get back into this stuff completely sooner rather than later, and you guys can be sure of more posts and pictures when that happens!

Education first with toy cars later.
Thanks for letting us know what is currently happening in your world.
Congratulations on your autocross class win.
I'm sure that it was a great feeling.

Cheers. Cobra

Support your local demo derby.

School comes first Rob. I haven't had the time lately to keep up with all the new releases either, but they will always be offered by collectors later if you want them. Congrats on the W.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Schoolwork always has to come first! The boards will still be here when you graduate. ;) And as Zach said it's not too hard to catch back up on what you miss.

Congrats on the win!

Drop in when you can, School comes first, and congrats on the win. You gotta post a pic of the trophy though, I am dying with curiousity :1:

No trophy, just bragging rights and points towards the season championship. This was the first event of the season so I'm in the lead!
