New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
My RLC special reissue of the white Ramblin' Wrecker came last week and is 1 of 5000. Nice!
It is a bit more detailed than the 1979 issue, and is numbered. I hope Dave SSChevyman doesn't mind my use of the photo he took of an original so you can compare the trucks. The reissue is still available to anyone at the HWC.com "shop" section.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Okay, I admit it, I'm dying to know...

Does the reissue have Larry Wood's current home phone number on it?

LOL, as in the announcement for the re-issue, they stated the graphics would be the same, but Larry's home phone number would NOT be on it! Can you imagine the chaos that caused on the 1979 version???? That's a question I didn't think of when I met him, but I'm sure he's asked that hundreds of times a year.

Then where's the fun in this reissue if his number isn't on it? :(

Oh well, there go my plans for bugging him and begging for a Rambler/AMC Marlin in the Hot Wheels line...

Steve, it's still available but not in stores---you have to go to www.hwc.com. Did you get the Mustang Mania set available there yet? Ten cars for 19.95---all exclusive paint jobs!

Dave, thanks for approving my use of your nice diorama photo.
