The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
See, this is how a manufacturer should do a 'Hollywood On Wheels' type release. Accurate castings, not just slap any old license on any old casting that might sort of fit the theme (I'm looking at Matchbox and JL on this one!).

I have these somewhere. Definitely better than the JL version, which I got rid of.

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
Certainly look good, much better than other brands. But keep in mind that Revell was primarily a plastic model maker and those type folks like to get things right, not like many diecast companies who still think "just a toy" instead of accuracy.

Exactly why the Revell "Bullitt" Mustang and Charger look better than anything Racing Champions ever put out!
