The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

![]() Today's car of the day is Tomica Limited's Isuzu 117 Coupe. ![]()
![]() For more information and pictures of the real car please visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_117_Coupe ![]() A nice looking Tomica Limited model of a seldom seen real car. Tomica keeps their molds around for years and years and reissues them from time to time. This one dates to when the real car was still new in showrooms back in the 1970s, but freshened up with newer tampo printing methods and correct rubber wheels and rims. ![]()

As much as I love the charm of vintage Tomicas, these new issues are just so much nicer with their more precise detailing, nicer interiors and accurrate wheels and tyres. I have a feeling Playart did this one too. |

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!

I agree with JA above---the newer Tomicas seem to look much improved over earlier issues, just from photos I've seen at this site. |
