Today's bus of the day is Tomy's 1993 Mitsubishi Fuso Bus FL 5622.

The Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (Japanese: 三菱ふそうトラック・バス株式会社) is a German-owned, Japan-based manufacturer of trucks and buses. It is headquartered in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan. This company is one of the World's largest truck manufacturers. Daimler AG of Germany owns approximately 85% of Mitsubishi Fuso and Mitsubishi Fuso is a member of the Daimler Trucks division of Daimler AG.

Although, just like many diecast forms of buses, this cast has been shrunk down to 1:130th scale, which really isn't all that bad. The careful attention to recreating the details on the cast really work well with Tomy's styling.

The name Fuso translates to hibiscus, an ancient name for Japan used by the Chinese and this was the name for the company's first product in 1932.
