I stopped into the Jegs store this morning and discovered they just recieved a shipment of the 2008 Chevy Cobalt Pro Stock championship car in 1/64 scale...
They also have the 1/64 scale hauler which I couldn't afford right now at 29.99 each... The whole truck and trailer is diecast and not plastic... I'll get some pics of one a little later... The cars are 9.99 each and well worth every cent !!!

The back of the card is full of information also !!!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Anyone else notice this is an AutoWorld piece?

I guess they've got 1/64 diecast already- racing style!

Not a bad first item from AW. Still pretty close to the generic diecast cash cow though.

They may be worth it, but...US$ 9.99 each in the current economic climate?

That doesn't bode well.

I suspect that this isn't an indication of their upcoming regular line's price point. This sounds more like a promo specific for Jegs which would explain the price.

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
Promotional items like these always cost more. They sell especially well at the race track trailers and asking $9.99 for something like this is pretty normal and not considered overpriced, considering the venue.
