This "Kitcar dune buggy" firm was founded by Bruce Meyers . The design called for use of a VW floorpan and power was provided from the rear mounted engine. Due to strong competition from less expensive copycat
producers, Meyers was forced to close in the early 1970s. In addition he experienced patent infringements and IRS tax demands. But Meyers recnly introduced a new model called the Manxter which is produced in Valley Center, California.

Small scale models of this marque have been issued by Hot Wheels and Jada .
