Hi, thought this was an interesting toy, it's all plastic, about 6 inches long, Tootsietoy, but still made in USA. Anyone know how late they were making these in the US, this would have been mid 80's I think...

Wiki says the 1/1 was in production from '84-'88. It's possible Tootsie Toys could have still been producing this up into the mid 90s. |

I had a red one that looked just like that! I thought it was a bit bigger than 6 inches long, but that may just be memory failing me. I got mine in the mid '80s, and I don't recall seeing many past that. I do miss these larger scale plastic cars. They just faded away over the years- I never see new ones! |
