I used about 30 bucks in gas, but well worth it to me... Here's what I came home with: A couple of new Motor Max dios: ![]() ![]() M2s Torino Cobra: ![]() M2s Drivers Nova: ![]() A few JL 40ths: ![]() ![]() ![]() The numbers on the doors had to go as soon as I liberated this one: ![]() I'm Happy !!! |

I'm leaning towards addiction myself. Do have say they are nice finds, esp the M2 Torino, but this is a lot of coin to shell out on diecast & for gas $ Steve. I'm completely serious in saying this and in a respectful way, but I think you might have real problem. You've posted here in the past that you've come close to having your electricity cut off among other basic services. Diecast should be viewed as a luxury to people who have extra cash to spend after all other necessities are taken care of. I've done my fair share of spending large amounts of diecast in a week's worth of time, but I don't put this hobby before my own well being. Hope you can understand my reasoning and cause for concern Steve.

I think it's leaning more towards addicition... It even seems like the thrill of walking through a Wal-Mart or Target doors is a real rush and it gets more intense as I get closer to the toy dept... When you speng 5 or 10 bucks every other day it dosn't seen like that much, but when ya add the reciepts up for the check book it adds up to be quite a bit real quick... I think I'm gonna back off for awhile and play with the ones I have... The good Lord knows I have enough... Thanks a great deal for the concern Crafty... Kinda funny, but read the replys to this thread over at HT... Seems like alot of us loose a little control once in awhile !!! Nice finds! I totally understand...sometimes I have to make a conscious effort to avoid the toy department. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

I gave up trying to fight it years ago. I would buy diecast before I'd buy my own dinner. Not that it's ever come to that but, if it did, I wouldn't hesitate.
