Multiple Mustang Syndrome: '82 3.3 & '08 GT

Way too much red in this release. Red is not a color I particularly like on cars- real or diecast. Sadly, even blue can't help that Buick not be an ugly car (its not the casting, its the real car- I've never cared for the real one). Thankfully, I know I'm the odd one out when it comes to red so I'm sure these will find their fans!

The green Mustang looks really good and the Charger is the best appearing that casting has looked so far. Would agree with Swifty though on too much red cars in this one. The Buick, well, that thing never looked right to begin with. |
Who says small cars don't hit hard?

By looking at what most diecast manufacturers decide to release, one would think that the Mustang was the only car Ford ever produced. While the stang castings are nice, it would be refreshing to see other Ford vehicles reproduced in small scale. In fact, I have a whole list of vehicles that would be readily accepted by the collector. EH |

I do agree EH, and that's even from a Stang man. But I guess it's a matter of return on the tooling investment. They KNOW that the Stangs will sell, so they release way to many of them! Just marketing I guess, but like you, there is so much more to the blue oval then just ponys! |

On the mark with that statement! If you can, imagine the perspective of a non mustang collector Seems like every other car in every release is a Mustang

I can think of a number of non-Mustangs that need to be done also: '65 Thunderbird, '68 Fairlane fastback, '58-'60 Thunderbird, '77-'79 Thunderbird, '70 Marauder, and a '55 Continental MK II would be awesome. We definitely need more Thunderbirds. |
