Hi Guys,

Made you look! No we didn't put a M80 under our 442 die cast car and see what's left after the explosion, maybe sometime soon we can do that. image

Anyways, here are two images of all the parts and pieces that goes into one of our die cast cars. The only difference is one image has the pieces numbered. The headlights & taillights are pretty tiny and can easily be overlooked. So just factor in all these parts, the tampo work & a collectors base..."such a deal."

I'll shut up now and let the images speak for themselves.

Thanks,
Sean

P.S. Check out the new updates on the M2 Blog!

That's a boat load of parts for a small scale car. Thanks for the pic Sean.
Who says small cars don't hit hard?

That's incredible! It certainly helps to put things into perspective, as well.

The seats being seperate gives M2 a four piece interior (not counting the dashboard and steering wheel)- who else is giving us this level of realism in small scale?

Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I get a little miffed when some collectors say that our prices are high, when they have no idea on the number of pieces that go into our cars.

Just image trying to put the little sucker back together again.

Thanks,
Sean

Who's been complaining of that? M2 is a bargain, especially compared to brands like Kyosho and Minichamps. The level of quality is right there with those more expensive brands, but M2 offers opening hoods and doors to boot. For $5. Shelby, the only other collector grade diecast with opening hoods and doors....is also at a $5 pricepoint.

If it's any consolation, people have been complaining about the price of JLs and GLs for years, yet those same people happily pay $4 for a Mainline Hot Wheels with better wheels and tampos. I guess people just need to complain about something or they're not happy.

No, we actually have a few of these blown apart cars for the sales team. It's a very effective sales tool.

Thanks,
Sean

That's way to many parts for me to mess with... I would probally have it looking something like Fred Flintstone's ride !!!

That is a SWEEEEEET casting... I really like the side windows on that one !!!
As a matter of fact, I think I like it better than the Mustang casting !!!

New casting? Quick!! Take it apart!
The exploded parts photo diagram made me realize something a lot of us could use----any chance of selling wheel and tire sets in an accessory package, like 12 wheel/tire sets or more in one pack??
I used to be a genius, but I found out it's a lot less work and more fun to be a redneck.

A customizer's dream!

And for those who want to do a race course with tire barriers, a cost effective way of doing so too...

I certainly can't complain about the price point here. At my local TRU, M2s are still a buck cheaper than some of the GLs (the only other quality diecast going within this price range).

Let me check my receipt to be sure.

2 M2 muscle cars: $4.99 each

1 GL @ $4.99, and 1 GL SE Ast. @ $5.99

Not sure what the extra buck was for there, but I remember thinking it odd to raise the price for what I believe was some extra hunk of plastic tossed in the package that was only a fraction of the size of M2's collector's base. I don't even think JL did a dollar hike in price when they included little extras in their Road Trip series...unless I am remembering incorrectly.
