I haven't seen any JLs at my WM in months...and they started out getting a random case of the 40th cars now and then. But now, forget about it. It's dry.

The diecast aisles in my area Walmarts can nowadays be fit into the trunk of a Mini...and NO Johnnies anymore.

Congrats on your scores! Two at once, I havent done that in quite a while
As for your thread title, I must admit, I have NO love for WM! I have never had much of any luck finding even a regular T-Hunt there. The ones around here are scalped heavily, (I suspect sometimes by employees) and other than HWs, don't stock much in the way of collectible diecast.

I guess it was just timing, I found these 2 at 4:30 in the afternoon, and 4 fire eater hunts in a shipper at 10:30am, both in different stores I know are scalped. Not everything gets into scalpers hands. I've actually had more luck in walmart than anywhere else this year, thus the title.

The only place I've seen any Johnnies lately is at TRU... Very, very, few at Wal-Marts...
I love the Suburban, but don't like the wheels on the Mustang at all !!!

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
Nice finds, and it seems even harder to find as not all stores carry them!
My Walmarts just jacked up the prices big time---
JL new series WAS 1.96, as of this past week---$3.00 53% increase!
M2 castings WAS 4.99, as of this past week----$6.00 20% increase

Yes, great scores!
As for the Fire Eater TH, I still haven't found a TH on the pegs in a long time.
But I took a case off of the WM Pallet and got a basic Fire Eater TH.
I pegged the rest of the cars (kept a couple Deloreans and others) but
I technically didn't peg the TH :)
