The other day I was surprised at the arrival of a courier at my door, Parcel delivery, And I could see the Milezone's box in his hands, Now I didn't order anything from Milezone's, but was expecting Secret Santa stuff and a RAOK that I was notified of to be on the lookout for.

The courier announced and you Owe Custom Tax of $8.75. So After forking over teh required $8.75 to get this perfect little package in my greedy little hands I noticed that the sender marked the little x in a more financially painful spot for me. (Other)

So what I suggest to all of our Non Canadian members here who from time to time RAOK us Canucks in the great white north is to clearly mark the "Gift" box, after all what else can you call a RAOK but a Gift. and further put a value of about 20$ or less on the Custom label that the post office gives you. This will almost ensure the parcel does not get caught up in Canadian Customs.

Not wanting to offend those of us who pride themselves on being totally honest in our dealings, Liberated Johnnies are worth far less then MOMC ones. And most used Diecast has virtually no value unless accessed and authorized. For all intentional purposes teh 40th is 2$ each in the US, so you could send up to 10 in the box without going over the 20$ limit.

Just a suggestion, I have not been able to open the parcel yet, becuas emy better half has appropiated it until Christmas, But I know it will be worth the $8.75

I'm sorry James, I didn't know that by marking 'other' that you had to pay a custom tax on the box. If I'd known otherwise, the gift option would had been marked.

Terribly sorry you had to fork over $8 just to take possession of the box. That sucks.

Thanks for the information to the non Canadians on the board, I had no idea.

Not a problem, but the down side of this it is another box that I have to wait until Christmas to open. That part sucks.

Your wife is using you to get a new wardrobe while your box remains sitting under the tree . . .I'd say she's a keeper!
