![]() Today's Car of the Day is Hot Wheels' Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato ![]() Are you flippin' kidding me? Hot Wheels actually did this car?! I was so pleasantly surprised to find it on the pegs, it looks fantastic and goes right along with the 250 GTO with which it competed back in the early 1960s. ![]() My only complaint here is the typical Hot Wheels Classics "Spectraflame" paint. Perfect color, good wheels, good tampoes, but the paint is just too shiny for this car. Hopefully they will release a plaincolor mainline at some point, but my hopes are not high. ![]() More info and pictures of the real car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_Martin_DB4_GT_Zagato ![]() Now here's a race I'd like to see. With a top speed of over 153mph, I think the Aston would have the train by a beautiful country mile!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

That is absolutely stunning! It will be hard to beat this one for my COTW vote!

Where did you find this one at Robbie? Was wondering if this was a WM exclusive color cause I didn't see any of this casting in a batch I found at Rural King several weeks ago. HWs can do great stuff when they try! |

I had to buy this HW casting. It's from the Classics Zach (about $3.99 plus tax, but it has a metal base). |

Zach, I did find this at Wal Mart. As far as I know, they don't do WM exclusive colors for the Classics. |

Thanks Ray and Robbie for the replies. My local WM quit handling the Classics 5 series which is a bummer. If anyone has a spare in mint condition, shoot me a pm. |
