Here's one of the nicer castings to come out of JLs latest runs.

The coloring is nice...not the usual B&W fare they've been rubber stamping.

And speaking of rubber, the tires here are the first rubber ones I've seen from the 40th and F64 releases.

Nice job on this one. Now all I need is a Fire Chief Fury to match

Support your local demo derby.

Nice to see some rubber treads on this casting finally, really helps in the looks dept. This has been mentioned by Lummox on another board, but they really need to fix the trunk on this casting. The rear end looks like it's sagging big time. '65-'67 c-body Mopars had trunks/rear fenders that flowed horizontally from the rear C-pillars, not downward arching.

That said, a pretty nice presentation for $2. Thanks for the pics Robert.

Zach, you're right about the rear end. I thought it was just sort of even with the front, but it does seem to sag downward and make the nose seem higher.

If I remember right they were a bit of a pain to keep rear shocks on. And lots of them were being driven around town looking just like thaht. Although being a Police cruiser the reg maint would of been done, and it would be in the best of shape. I must look at the red & white taxi to see if it is he same.

Here's one used on Mythbusters a few seasons ago. It's a hardtop version, but you get the point.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
That is beautiful and its great to see that it no longer has the horrible 'Walmart $10 special' rims that previous releases of this casting had!
