Here's one I haven't seen too much of on the boards. This was a pretty nice touch for VW and ambulance fans alike.

Unlike the current fantasy police cars, the wheels on this casting helps to pull it off.

The graphics are fairly simple, and yet you could actually see this being used as an emergency vehicle in some third world country...or an episode of Lost

I agree. The simplicity works well.
For some reason, I am thinking that this one wasn't so easy to come by. I am the fortunate owner of one, but they didn't hang around the pegs too long.

Support your local demo derby.

I'd agree with Mark, these were quite rare to see on the pegs from a few years ago.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Nice one! And they weren't just used in Third World countries:

Not an ambulance but would be an awesome livery for this casting:

This is a great example of how less really can be more at times. Doesn't always work for everything LC does...but here, it works great.

Sean, thanks for the pics...I didn't know this was based on something that was actually in use, although the graphics vary a bit. Cool info!

Mark, this was part of a trade, or purchase, I got from you at JJ 2 years ago. I hadn't seen them around previously, and would not have this one otherwise
