Support your local demo derby.

Like, wouldn't it be cool if we saw some of these great JLs again with metal bases and rubber tires as well as the details we came to expect from JL?

'69 Mark III
'66 Bronco

Add in the Vista Cruiser wagon and a handful of other castings which haven't been used lately, and I think this would be a step in the right direction for JL.

I'll be looking for older JL cars at shows and flea markets this year.

I'm afraid some vendors will raise their prices on older JL cars because they are better quality than the new JL cars.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
It would definitely be nice to see quality return to the Johnny Lightning brand. 2.0 is the right direction, but that needs to be the focus and noth the afterthought to the Forever 64 line.

By the way....anyone else think "Forever 64" is a odd name for the line? I like the cars for the most part but the name has me scratching my head. They should have picked something more memorable.

At least they don't have tampos that read 'Community Chest' or 'Go to Jail!'

I just gotta say that when RC2 gets it right, something of beauty results. Just look at that Monte and the Lincoln. The wheels alone are perfect!! I love both versions of these castings!!
There isn't anything with that level of accuracy coming from RC2 at the moment. The so-called "2.0" had better blow us away!

My father owned a brown Lincoln Mark III with the 365hp 460 c.i. engine. They did an excellent job capturing that car. I've got the green one.
