The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
It's only beating the Camaro by one horsepower and 2 MPGs. I'd be interested to see how their combined duel economy numbers look considering the Mustang drops from 31 highway all the way to 19 city.

Still, Ford gets the PR coup by breaking 30 MPGs and that is huge in this day and age, especially from a car cranking that many ponies to the ground. That's got more horsepower than my Mustang GT! And mine's less than 3 years old!

Sean, wonder which one is lighter? That extra horsepower doesn't help the 'maro much when it's got to lug around another 350!!! pounds.

But that only makes you wonder how good the fuel economy would be if the car was that much lighter! ;)

I'm defending the Camaro against the Mustang. I own two Mustangs. What the heck am I doing?!?

Well, GM can't help it if they have a hard time cutting fat without a government intervention! ;)
