I took these pics a couple of weeks ago at the 2010 Pittsburgh Auto Show.

I remember seeing a BWW Isetta when I was a kid. The driver parked in front of a movie theater and to my surprise he got out of the car in a strange way.

It would be cool to take a picture of Swifty behind the wheel of the 1957 BMW Isetta.

I wonder if the wicker basket is for food or snakes.

The rear of the 1957 BMW Isetta looks like it's about 3 license plates wide. :o

Here's a few pics of the 2010 Smart car (53 years younger than the 1957 BWW Isetta).

$16,000 sticker price, and a waiting list for the Smart car.

Support your local demo derby.

Hold on Ray, I'm on the phone with Steve Urkel, he's freaking out at the moment. Will get back to you in a moment. . . .

Ok, got him calmed down! Not sure if I've seen the BMW ever on the road around here. Did see a smart car convertible last year in a parking lot and someone here in town has one. They have a large decal advertising Round Up for farmers. Amazing how big of a difference the mpg is between the two. The Smart car doesn't get any better MPG than a mid size hybrid Fusion. Go figure.

Thanks for the pics Ray.

Zach, a friend of mine has a Smart car. I couldn't believe he bought one. He had 3 JEEPs and a Triumph TR4. He sold a JEEP to buy the Smart car. He loves his Smart car!

A Smart car passed me on the PA Turnpike on my way to the 2009 Keystone Diecast CARnival. I was doing 60 MPH when he passed me. He had to be going 75 MPH. Later I found out some Smart cars will do 90 MPH. (SCARY!)

I'm not fond of 3 lugs holding the wheel on.

Do you really 'get behind the wheel' so much as 'put it on and wear it'? ;)

Agreed, I have wanted one of those for a couple of years. Talk about a boulevard sleeper!
