well today i attanded the matches and despatches meeting at mendips raceway,
at this meeting hearses and limousines take to the track and in my opinion was well worth the trip to get there
the meeting started off steady and in heat 1 there wasnt that much happening just some good racing however as the day went on the racing and action got heavier very heavy in places.only around 15 or 16 cars turned up today but it really couldnt have been a better meeting and i will deffinateley be heading there again next year
363 trummer was in the thick of the action all day in his lincoln town car limousine. 44 steve griffin also deserves a mention for spending all afternoon fitting a new engine in his stunning mk2 limo for the dd as it blew up in heat 1. it would have easily done another meeeting but he took it out in the dd and it got totally wrecked
anyway heres some pics

Support your local demo derby.

Some duck tape and a good buffing rag would make this one look good as new. Yikes!

^Poor thing got plastered^

Looks like a small but a good meet. Some of these cars look like small explosions ripped them apart. I take it that frame welding the seams shut isn't allowed?

Great before and after pics Harlan.
