Support your local demo derby.

Ok, you don't need a boat load of single dollar bills to look, but these cars are ready for the old custom stripping process. This is all my current derby bait. Have a few others that will join these soon. Almost all of these were bought on various diecast boards over the past several months and what others that weren't were bought at box stores or flea markets.

In all about 50 cars will end up getting the derby treatment. Everything from late 50s Edsels and Lincolns, to '70s era roundback wagons, Rivies, all the way up to an '06 Dodge Charger. Just need some time on the weekend to drill the bases apart, strip the glass off and then strip 'em/clean them up before spraying on some primer. A good chunk should get wheel swaps. I get the feeling this could take a while! B)

Is it derby season yet? :D

Wow! That will be some fleet! Ya gotta post a group shot in primer. Some cool extras too. Light bars and gumballs. I think you'll be on this one for a while!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Nice selection of derby bait! That said, the Matchbox Mercurys (all four- including the green Cougar Villager), Zylmex Chevelle, and two of the three Impy Imperials (the hoodless one being the exception) look too nice to derby.
