This past Thursday, my Partner was taken to the ER with some sort of heart issue. As he was being driven, he managed to call me at school, apologizing for calling during class. I left outta there and made the 30 minute drive in 15 minutes. He was admitted and stayed for about a day and a half. Turns out he had a condition that starts with "V" which mimics a heart attack. It causes a major drop in blood pressure, clamminess, feeling light-headed and tons of sweat. He's home and is doing well.

I guess what I want to say is love all over those you're close to...this event made me realize how precious life really is and how in an instant everything can change.

I am glad your partner is home and feeling better. You just never know when some one you love's health can change for the worse. Take care

I'm glad he's doing better, and you're right. Things can change in an instant- never waste an opportunity to tell your loved ones that you love them.

I'm glad he's doing better. :)

It's scary to go through something like that -- my husband had his own health scare earlier this year.

I think in times like these, we learn how we take others for granted in day to day life. Not necessarily that we're mean or anything to them, but we just don't think "what if they're not there anymore.." -- be it with friends or family.

Can you see what I'm saying?
I too am glad your partner is okay. There is nothing more scary then getting a call that your loved one is hurt. I wish him well and a speedy recovery.
