Love the Lone Star IMP in the background Sak . . . I have the Milezone GWF Bowtie around here somewhere. He did still have some and would put them on sale for like $3 which is what I got mine for. It's rides like this one which I miss seeing in JL land. |

You know, Zach, I also have that '55 Chevy in red metallic. It's beautiful! Dodge: I took the stake box section off. I then took a big paint swirling stick that I got from Home Depot, cut it in two, painted it, and attached it. Instant rollback. The light on top of the vertical backstop came from the roof of an Ertl Pontiac Bonneville. Cutting and painting only took like ten, fifteen minutes. I love it when things go quickly! |

The irony of you saying that, Stangy, especially when said rollback is passing by a boarded-up Ford dealership, was striking

![]() Images courtesy of JLCollector.com. Thanks Wyatt. This 1955 Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan casting #848 from Chevy Thunder release 2 is fairly unique because of a couple of its particular details. It is the only version with a hood scoop. And it is one of only two versions with the enlarged and radiised rear fender wells. I believe that Grey-Haired Art when employed at Playing Mantis for responsible for this specific version. It is a beauty. I liked it so much that I bought a couple extra copies of it when it came out. Here is the other version with the enlarged and radiised rear fender wells for those who may be curious: ![]() Cheers. They need to re-release the American Graffiti cars and use that casting. The Badman casting just wasn't right. |

Oh the ironny, I nominate this pic as a pic of the month contender.......I know it will have at least one vote That grey with flames looks fab! But as far as grey with flames goes, it is just wrong to call them BLACK W/FLAMES and card them as such. IMHO

Its Gorgeous, I really like Grey w/Flames cars and have it be a Bowtie makes it even more . Milezones got it right by just calling the series FLAMEs, leaves him open to do any color......Flames look great on most cars unless they are real flames then they don't look so great. |

I suspect that's why the casting was tooled up with these modifications- I wonder if they lost the license between the time they tooled the casting and the time it hit market? Either way, I agree with you, the Badman was atrocious and it's screaming to be done right. |
