Finished the backboard. Cant get the detail in a large pic.![]() Need to run the electric wire and build the fence. I used a lot of space with the pond and corn field but I can always fine turf the field if I need more room. |

Looks perfect ...Bob... Lots of neat detail .Are you planning a couple of scrap loads in a train Gondola car ? The track looks great .The trees and shrubery look great. I am willing to bet the cornfield will have cars in it someday .l.o.l. |

Thought I'd post the fence. Not real happy with it but its there. The gate does swing open. Still thinking of fencing in the back side of the tracks the same way. Maybe having some of it broken and falling.

Fence looks ok to me i dont see anything wrong with it . A opening gate is a nice touch. If you mean by the back side of the track the same side as the fence is on,adding a fence there would not be realistic .If it is a mainline. The railroad would not have a fence on the right of way where there already is a fence. At least in our area the fence that runs along the tracks there is just the one fence. Just an idea Bob. If your track is a siding then you could have a cattle loading ramp .You could run a fence from the gate and then parallel along the main fence and add a ramp . That would look realistic . Or a easy way cut out a inch or so of fence and add a fenced ramp straight out to the track. You could break a post or the fence could be broken . If you want a picture of a cattle ramp i can post one for you it is just made from craft sticks . Edited by Jim, Jul 5 2011, 09:14 PM.

Working on a fire pit. What better way then a real fire to build it. My starter gel sort of went "squirt" but lit it anyway. I need to touch up the ends of the sit on these logs...![]() I'll have a pit with burnt logs and ashes. Can you believe what the 49'er are doing? |
