I'm a little overwhelmed latley with all the bays in the garage, but this one seems like a good place to share this one with you! OK, it's here...the 94th running of the Indianapolis 500. In honor of that little event, I though I would share my collection of winning replicas from past 500's. All are 1:64 scale by various manufactures. Sorry for the pic, it’s hard to shoot cars in a mirrored back case, but here is a pretty solid attempt. I am not a huge fan of "spec" series, and sadly that is all we have in the IRL right now, but this is a great reminder of days gone by! I hope you enjoy my little Memorial Day offering..... Ward ROW ONE...(left to right) Frank Lockhart - 1926 Miller by Hot Wheels Troy Ruttman - 1952 Agajanian by Hot Wheels Parnelli Jones - 1963 Agajanian Watson Offy by Hot Wheels Mario Andretti - 1969 STP Ford Hawk III by Hot Wheels ROW TWO Al Unser, Sr. - 1970 Ford P.J. It's hard to find correct replicas. Thanks for any heads up and for looking....enjoy the race!

Here's one you might be interested in adding to your collection Ward. http://cgi.ebay.com/GREENLIGHT-2008-DANICA-PATRICK-IRL-CAR-/140411278914?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item20b12a1642 |

Awesome collection of Indy cars you have Ward. Didn't realize that HWs had made those early ones in the first row. The Indy 500 is the only race each year I actually care about or watch anymore. Nothing like watching open wheel racing. |

Here's a pic of the Parnelli Jones (Row 1) that I have. I have another variation of this car (different color), but I don't know where it is.![]() Don't forget about the Danica Patrick by Greenlight in my previous post Ward. |

My favorite Hot Wheels car from the 4 car set that has the Parnelli Jones car in the set is Mickey Thompson's Challenger 1. The detail is nice for 1/64 scale. Hope you don't mind if I post a pic of the car Ward.

Some nice pieces posted, and I had no clue a Miller existed in 1/64. Awesome! As for all the bays, I've often wondered if we are too cluttered in that regard, and yet every time I think it's time to cut something I have a hard time figuring out what should go away! |

Great close up Stutz, that really shows the beauty of the casting. And your LSR car should start a thread for REAL Land Speed Record racers (wheeee, what a mouth full!). I have several I could add as well. As for that link to the DP car...got it! I not a DP fan, but I have kept up with every release in 1:64 (both Greenlight and Hot Wheels) so that when the Danica frenzy hits full pace, I can throw them up on ebay!!!! LOL! As for the bays Swifty, I would never even suggest what to trim, but I do admit that I don't stop by as often as I used to for that one reason. I know it's a stupid reason, and it's just my odd ways. But when something becomes to cluttered or difficult to navigate, I just loose the desire to work through it. DON’T ever change a thing over something I might have said. I would feel awful if you did. I only visit 3 boards and this is one of them, it a great site...just a little overwhelming. |

I'm the opposite way- I hate forums where everything all goes in the same place (whether it be on topic or off). One of the reasons Hobby Talk never really worked for me. But you are definitely right that we do have too much clutter. I will work on that... |
