Hi All! I've been gone for a while and really missed Swifty's. For those that care, a brief update:

The school year finished with little drama, but I had to go back for several days of Professional Development. As soon as that finished, my Brother and Sister in-law came for a week-long visit. Being the good host, I trekked them all over the place...Tucson/Biosphere 2/Scottsdale/Phoenix/Hermosa Beach California...a good time was had by all.

In between all this, a friend of mine started working his way through an *ugly* divorce. He moved into a tiny apartment in Tempe, with lots of treasures from his/their three-bedroom house. My BIL helped so it went fast. I do hate moving into an upstairs unit though.

The day before the in-laws left, I fell and majorly sprained my ankle. As I was falling, I heard the sound of rice crispies in milk. Luckily it's not broken, but I was laid up for a few days. Thankfully I can walk, albeit with a slight limp and air-cast.

This Sunday my Partner and I are going on our annual cross-country vacation. We'll be in the mid-west for a time, visiting Family and Friends. (I'm planning on bringing home lotsa diecast, so stay tuned.)

If you've read this far, thank you for making it through my ranting.

David :)

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
We missed you too! Enjoy your vacation, and if you're still in the Midwest by July 16-18 check out LightningFest in Dyersville, Iowa. Also, I hope your ankle is 100% ASAP!

Support your local demo derby.

David, shoot me a pm back if you are online any during your trip. You should be passing through my neck of the woods by mid week or so. Have a safe trip.
