Yeah I agree NASCAR ain't what it was back when Petty, Allison, Elliott and the Intimidator were the names to beat. But for a 7 year old fan to have a chance to see a race it is still a big thing. We received 4 free tickets to NHMS for Sundays Lennox 301. One of the people in my wife's office asked if anyone in the office were NASCAR fans and gave us the tickets. Deborah is busting at the seams.

That's great! While NASCAR is an inferior motorsport, it IS still a motorsport and awesome by association despite my ranting. I wouldn't pass up free tickets either, have fun!

Rob's funny.

Some guy at work dissected the acronym: "Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks".

But, you didn't hear that from me... :pancakebunny:

The people in the stands get quite a work out row 29.

Where we were sitting was right at the spot Montoya spun and wrecked oooohhh the smell of the race.

Foghat was the pre race music. Hmm "Slow Ride" preformed at a racetrack. What a day we all had a blast.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Sounds like fun! I've been to a few tracks but NHIS isn't among them. I'm glad you all had a great time! If you took any pics, please share them!
