Muscle Car

Four new series showed up at the local 99-Cents-Only store. Construction, Fire, Police, and Army. Construction has some interesting, despite plasticy and cheap machinery, but nothing up my collecting alley. The Army series had several tanks which I didn't take, and the fire trucks stayed behind. Here's what I bought: -Sorry for the questionable cell-phone pics. The packaging: ![]() BMW 325i and Alfa Romeo 159 Wagon Police cars (the BMW casting first appeared as a Singafund brand. Interesting connection...the Alfa Romeo is a new casting for me) ![]() ![]() International Bus and a Chevy C-1500 pickup (hard to justify paying a buck for that cheap pickup!) ![]() Ford Econoline-based Tow Truck and Ambulance: ![]() Hummer H-1 Wagon Police and HUMVEE: ![]() classic 1970s Ford Econoline Van: ![]() Jeep 4x4: ![]() Dean |

The police cars look like they are riding on mud tires! The Alfa wagon looks cool enough to buy. Thanks for the pics.

I am intrigued by the cheap stuff. I'm gonna be looking out for those. Thanks for the heads up. |

The All Original Gentleman
|
I got these here in Canada the other week. I picked up the Bimmer and Alfa, and they're both expecting wheel swaps and paint jobs. There is one other Police set that is also out, similar quality but not the same. Featuring a BMW 850i Police Coupe, and a Mazda Miata with no lightbar. <The Mazda has a metal painted window, as opposed to clear glazing> If I could ever find the time, I'd post pics. |

I never knew they'd done an Alfa, but now I've seen it, I want one! If anyone finds another, I'd be happy to trade for it

The Alfa would be even nicer in a proper Italian police livery... |
