*In Memory Of*
I have been just putting the cat food out on the back door porch. Then I found a new visiter. Not a good picture but I was trying to sneak up on it and take a picture through the window.

This raccoon doesnt seem to bother the cats. They avoid it but dont run from it. Thats one of the cats laying on the walk way. Seems last night she brought the family. Her and five somewhat smaller ones. Tonight just the mom. The cat didnt run but just quit eating and was up against the door. I opened it wide to let her in and started talking to this raccoon. She just slid her butt off to the bottom step and took her paws to reach and pull the food to her. Eating the whole time. Looking at me. I am really into wildlife. I know they can be distructive but if the raccoons can learn to share a meal with the cats I have no problem buying extra food. I put salt blocks out for the deer. Man I love it here!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Awwwww! Back when I lived in New Jersey, one night in our backyard a cat, a raccoon, and a skunk were all eating side by side! I wish I had a picture to share of that. *Sighs* Long before the days of digital cameras I'm afraid.

We were in Dayton a few weeks ago and didn't get this kind of nature up-close. Very cool to see...you're lucky indeed.
