While Sean was over here, we had some cars to junk up, for eachothers yards, and boy did we have fun doing so!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
The Sable is going to my yard- I actually bumped the year of the yard to 1986 (from 1985) just to accomodate this one car! ;)

I think the Volvo and Triumph came out best though. Jon, show the Triumph from an ariel view- this one is wrecked like it wrapped around a telephone pole. I now need to do one just like it for my own yard, LOL!

The Volvo was not mint. It was missing the glass and was chipped horribly. The Sterling....wasn't horrible, but wasn't perfect by any stretch. Do not cry for either! ;)

Your yard could be late '85 as following years' cars are often released in Sept to Dec.

I checked on the Sable previously, because I badly wanted one in the yard, but I think they were released in mid December. The odds of a scrapyard getting a wrecked Sable the week one comes out seem low. So if I open it up to '86, I get the Hot Wheels Monte Carlo, Matchbox Jaguar XJ-40, and Matchbox Saab 9000 as well. ;) More food for my destructive appetite as soon as suitable victims have been acquired! :D

I don't know, my local scrapyard came pretty close to getting a brand new Taurus wagon a couple of months after it rolled off the lot....... but it got repaired, I am glad it was leased as it was never quite the same after the accident.

Cars are very rarely the same after an accident. No matter how good the repairs are...
