The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

![]() Today's car of the day is Matchbox's 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. ![]()
![]() For more information and pictures of the real car please visit: Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit ![]() Here's a childhood survivor, and this one survived in near mint condition! Obviously this one didn't see as much playtime as some of my other cars. Opening doors and working suspension are treats, as is the all metal base and body. The only thing this model lacks is some real detailing. Unfortunately, it looks like a maroon lump instead of a Rolls-Royce. ![]()

Two of these maroon versions ended up crashed and smashed in my youthful demolition stage. I still have them, and neither one looks too unrealistic! Each would make a nice (albeit expensive!) addition to a junkyard. I do now have a mint maroon one, as well as a metallic pea green, and a beautiful metallic tan. Edocar has the only other casting of the Silver Spirit...also with opening doors. Dean |

I'd love to see the other colors, and the smashed ones! You could start your own junkyard!

I'll get some pictures, hopefully sooner than later...including the wrecked ones. I have a couple boxes filled with wrecks, some pretty realistic, some in pieces. I guess I should start including those as photographed "works of art" to share here. ![]() Dean |

Nice choice. I have the Edocar version. Nice, and very uncommon. |

I have a glittery-green version smashed in my salvage yard. I also have the tan version which came with sagging suspension from the factory. I remember being so disappointed. |

I have a maroon Rolls which seems to be the most common variation. I have seen the tan variation but I don't ever recall seeing a green one? |

It would be a pale lime green, James. I had a beater in that color, and redid it in black with chrome accents. |
