Not an easy piece to find, believe me! This one I've had since I was a child, so I got lucky on that. I think it was a hand-me-down on top of that, so I'm really lucky to have it!

My reason for interest. Mother purchased new in 1978, it has only 33K

Not many diecast issues of 78-79 Magnums, Hot Wheels has one that comes to mind straight up.

Dodge IMHO kept the muscle car generation going just a couple more years with monsters like above. I so much wanted one of these (a real 1:1) when they first hit the car lots. Really beautiful car, needs more diecast replica made of it and its sister the Cordoba

The Hot Wheels (NASCAR stocker from the Scorchers line) is much easier to find than the Corgi. I don't know of any other castings out there, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. In all my years of going to toy shows I've never seen one of the Corgis available for sale. I hate to say eBay but that may be your best bet. :(

Now the Corgi has an interesting feature- while it has no interior (notice the smoked windows) it does have an opening hood, which is released by a button on the base.

Ultimate American Banger Enthusiast!
I love corgi so much, probably the most "off" brand that I have the most of, besides matchbox, and hot wheels.
