http://www.hobidas.com/news/article/125489_1.html I see three each of the following: 1970s Civic 1980s Civic CR-X NSX City Turbo Integra S800 CR-Z NSX touring car And I'm not up on my vintage Formula 1 cars, so maybe someone can shed some light on that particular model. |

Muscle Car

That's quite a collection of Tomica's "been-there, done-that" in miniature Hondas. I'll still try to get a sample of each of the street cars, but the potential here for a few never before done in small scale was huge. One Honda I really think has enough character that I hope it is done someday, is the pop-up headlight, late 80's Accord Coupe. Dean |

Makes two of us ('87 Accord hatchback please!), and I agree 100% with your thoughts concerning how these have all been covered previously. I was really hoping for a del Sol. Yeah, X-Concepts did one but I don't have it and it isn't easy to come by. The surprising pick of this bunch to me is the City Turbo. I didn't realize this car had that some kind of iconic appeal. Or maybe it's more of an ironic appeal? Everything else on the list makes sense to me, so I guess the City's bigger in Japan than I realized. I guess my biggest shock is that there's only one current model (and a rather underwhelming one at that- I would have preferred a current Civic or Accord). |
