The more I see of Siku, the more I am impressed. The only down note I see is that I don't recall ever seeing an American make of auto. But for German and other Euro models, Siku does exceptionally well.

My picture, but the car belongs to Dave Weber.

In addition to this Wildcat, they did a GTO, '72 T-5 (Mustang), Toronado, '80s Camaro & Corvette, '60s Corvette, and they currently have the new Charger in their lineup. There have been others also but those are the ones that jump out off the top of my head. A lot of their recent generic castings were also heavily inspired by American cars as well.

That Buick Wildcat, and the Siku Cadillac sedan (DeVille Limo, perhaps?) are very high on my want list, however, they are each equally as high on price lists, and are too rich for my collecting habits. I still hold out hope that maybe someday, playworn examples of one or both may make themselves available to me, at more reasonable costs.

Here are a few U.S. cars I have pics of:

1982 Chevy Camaro

1968 Oldsmobile Toronado

Awesome, we had one of these when I was a kid.... I got to check with Mom and see if they have a picture of it, My Dad built a slide in camper to fit in teh back.

I really liked the way the sides of the bed folded down to make a flat bed.

Well, there you go! I hadn't seen any American makes before, now I have thanks to the great people at this site! And that gives me added incentive to keep my eyes peeled!

I agree with Wes 100%!
I for one appreciate greatly all those who post the many pictures of the cars on this site.

Whether they are dead mint or beaters, it gives others including myself a chance to see what is and was out there. Many of the "generics" that I have gathered over the years, I had no clue as to who made them and some what they were, and with the help of those on this site, have learned a great deal concerning them.

Like Swifty said it is sometimes dangerous, because you see so many neat pieces, it becomes very hard to keep up with.

The variety and knowledge on this site is incredible, and I cannot say enough about all who contribute to it. THANKS and keep posting!

The first is indeed an Alfa Romeo Montreal, but the second is a VW Karmann Ghia Type 34:
