I was pretty happy with this one...been wanting to snag one for a while now. Base is metal. Wheels are plastic with tread molded around the outer edge, much like MB. You can see the pebbled glass in the rear window.

Doors open, and there's a white plastic stretcher that slides out in the rear. It can be taken all the way out, but I only slid it part way for the pic.

There's some nice detailing with the tampoes, including Germany's equivalent of our "911."

I was a little concerned when I saw this was 1:55 scale, although most Sikus are around this scale and can be a bit large...much like Jada castings. But considering this is an ambulance, and should be a little bigger, it might actually come closer to an actual 1:64 than many ambulances released in that scale.

Here it is next to a current 1:64 JL '67 Fury for comparison.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I like that one!

Why can't American ambulances have flair like that? We get glorified vans. Boring! Bring back the Cadillacs and Packards says I!

The back of the box shows a white version of the ambulance with a simpler red stripe running down the side and red crosses. Looks good that way too.
