******WARNING!******WARNING!******WARNING!******WARNING!******WARNING!****** The images you are about to see may not be suitable for all viewers. All children over the age of 12 should immediately leave the room! However, since it is my sworn duty to show this collecting community the good, the bad, and the hideuos among collectible police cars, I feel I must present these vehicles for your evaluation. They are totslly made of blue molded plastic. ![]() No tampoes, only stickers, which makes me wonder about their longevity. ![]() Then we have this bit of business with no police markings at all. Maybe instead of a getaway car, this could be a getaway helicopter...what do you think? ![]() But here's the real reason I picked the set up. It came with a little dio that I thought might spice up some of my police car pics. I found it at a Big Lots. They also had a fire dept. set, but it was pretty much identicle to this one, but red instead of blue.

That is too cool! Thanks for the pics and the info on where to get one of those sets. I am much more interested in the building than the cars.

Glad to share, the good and the bad. These sets are like $4 each at Big Lots here. They were right below the MB and HWs, bottom row, sort of shoved into the corner. |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Great building! I think the police car is supposed to be a 1989 Holden Commodore (looks to be influenced by Hot Wheels' casting). |

It certainly looks like an older style Holden Commodore - though generic enough so you can't really pin it down. I have that casting as a Taxi and bought the same set in a Fire Station version. The little building served me as a background for pictures in the dark past - it is probably still in a box somewhere. As for being an "89 Holden" - you can't really pinpoint the year as they stay in production typically for 3 or 4 years unchanged. We'd call that a VN Commodore. |

Holden Commodore - circa 1989, as associated with the Hot Wheels model, with that year cast as the copyright date. The plastic cars are made by "Supreme." ![]() Dean |
