I bought some stuff on e-bay from a seller who had some interesting ones for sale. Didn't get them all, but i did get some good ones:

First up - Schuco VW Beetle ADAC - a few chips here and there but definitely an upgrade from the one I have:

And a Siku Hanomag small truck - these were quite popular back in the 70s before the company got bought out by Mercedes:

Next up a Norev Ford Mustang that came still mint in the blister:

An Efsi Model T Firetruck - I like the little guys on the back!

And two more for my Guisval collection:

A Talbot Horizon - near mint:

and a Skoda Buggy - minus the roof - hopefully I can find a beater that will donate one:

You gotta love it when the postman leaves a package!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Wow! Excellent finds! I never knew the Mustang came in red, and I've never seen either the Siku or the Efsi before at all!

Nice selection there! I'd have probably bid on the Hanomag myself if I'd have seen it.

And just out of interest, Patrick, how do you find postage charges from the UK to Australia? Because postage charges from Australia to the UK seem ridiculous on ebay, the same as those from the U.S.

Hi,

I never go by the quoted charges on ebay because they are often generated by ebay and don't reflect the real cost and are way too high. I love buying from the UK as the mail is relatively cheap (cheaper than from other European countries). From the US it is more - but I always get a quote from the seller first.

The Aussie Dollar being so high at the moment, it also makes it easier for us but harder for people to buy from here.
