I've got one of the covered versions kicking around.

I remember a letter on the bottom, some speed lines and a wheel logo. Like S=O

Or maybe even R.

I liked how it's size complimented the 1/64th scale, and the doors on the front and back open with completely clear glazing.

ok as promised, here are the undersides of the 2 buses ...

says tims toy 1721 and carven on the bottom - made in china
has pullback action and opening doors
metal body and plastic base, 6 rubber tires
auto show tampos

has pullback action and opening metal door
metal body abnd plastic base, 4 rubber tires
pushing down on the front wheels - causes honking sound and starting noises and headlights flash
go express tampos

Here they are next to cars to show scale. I have never really into the "Has to be perfect" scale wise to me they look good that is what matters to me and the girls.

I haven't had time to upload by Tomica buses - but these two beauties arrived in the mail yesterday and I just had to take a pic. Both are Japanese, and about the size of a Tomica Long model.

First - a Bandai "Dapper" Japan National Railway Bus

And an ASC "Airport Limousine" bus.

These are running passengers between Narita Airport and the major Tokyo hotels. They are still orange and white and I took one of these when I was there. Somehow, they manage to run to a tight schedule on time despite Tokyo's traffic!
