A white roof OEM style might break up all the yellow. I am just glad they got it really close (casting) I have seen so many butchered attempts at a beautiful car

When I was 16 I worked at a shell station pumping gas, and in teh lot there was a 55 Belair Nomad for sale, I so much wanted that car to rebuild, it was missing its front end, no hood, fenders or motor, but the rest was there, it was a bright bright sunny yellow, the station was right beside an air force base, either some airman got transferred and had to unload it because he could not take it to his next transfer or he could not find the parts he needed, some one ultimately bought it, but I never saw it surface again in the town I lived in. This pic reminded me of my first wish car. Thanks Edited by James, Mar 9 2011, 07:32 PM.

That is a extremely good looking casting. James mine first wish car was a old '57 Chevy 2 dr Belair that was at the end of the street where I was going to middle school. It stayed there for years. I never knew what happened to it. I still have a small passion for the '57 Chevys. |

That is a very nice casting of a monumentally classic car! Of all of the Nomads, I love the 55 best. My first wish car was a long roof too...a 59 Edsel Villager with a 475 ci 4V, and it sat for years beside a car parts store down the block from my house... |
