I see two, possibly four, that look remarkably similar to Playart castings...makes me wonder if Yatming ended up with some of the Playart tooling?

There was a Playart/Yat Ming connection at one point during the early 1970s. No one I know has managed to piece together exactly what the connection is (it's possible they were made in the same factory- like Johnny Lightning & GreenLight today). But there are a few castings that are remarkably similar between the two ranges. As far as I know, no one ended up with the Playart castings- they were probably just scrapped. :(

The sedans (yellow Opel and blue BMW) are stand-outs for me. I like those castings, and both of those variations are lacking in my collection.
