The buildings are far from perfect but not expensive .

Thank you for posting these DIYs!

I think it's time I moved away from paper and onto styrene.

NoirGuru ...Do you have pictures of your buildings. Styrene is cheap and easy to use.Like anything takes a bit of patience.

I have a post on the Back 40 agriculture topic you might find amusing .

Poor mans building ..Cardboard

Sorry Jim I haven't had any pictures of my buildings, except for a quick one made recently before my move.

This can be seen here: http://swiftysgarage.net/topic/6704362/1/?x=90

It was more of an experiment than it was to be a "lasting model".

Then again, most of mine were like that since I never had the space to keep them.

The advantage to paper is that you can print textures and patterns to the paper, to make it look authentic.

Very nice work the building reminds me of a Mercedes building in our area. Now that is something i would not have the patience to do.l.o.l. It does show that there are many ways to display a little car. With the little visitors we have every weekend it is hard enough to keep plastic ones together .The paper ones would look good in a display case .Safe from little hands l.o.l.
