The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Does the BMW have silver headlight and grill tampos? I've now come across two that have the front end detailed, and both looked too well done to be customs.

I should specify- I mean the 320i, not the 635CSi. It should have a black base with the front fascia included as part of the base, but I'm trying to determine if the painted headlights/grill are the norm for this or if these are customs.

I need to get caught up on black-based BMW 320i models! I have several chrome base models, but my only black base example had worn tampos that I put out of their misery and finished off with nail polish remover, so it's a custom now.

Interesting, so it looks like they came from the factory like this! But they still look handpainted, which wouldn't be out of the norm for '50s Lesneys...but '80s Yat Mings?

Sean, take a look at yours.it seems they took the time to do a good job.after a longer and closer
look the headlights seem to be done in silver metal flake paint.and the radiator is done with
vertical lines to set if off from the horizontal lines of the grill.the radiator chrome seems to be
done in the same silver paint.all of my black plastic based cars where made in thailand.
